Kinda busy month this month of June...No sucessful fishing trip in KL and other places coz didn't plan a trip for it. Looking foward for the month of July and hope to post some new fishing report here to share with all fishing kakies...

Alien Species Removal Program by PeMM

Recent fishing trip is in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa organized by PeMM to remove those alien species from chiclid family such as Peacock Bass, Tilapia and others on 24 May 2009...It was started at 7am till 2pm...

I was on a suddent off day that day because my restaurant closed for photo shooting...So Im happy to go there for a tryout. Went on that day is with my lovely girlfriend Shasha and my fishing buddy TJS and her girlfriend.

Seems quite a lot of MFN forummers there hunting those fishes but mostly fly-fishers got due to weedy ground benith the pond. Anyway its free and got to try out my lures and practice my baitcasting. Eventhough no fish caught on that day, glad to spend my time with my girlfriend who always asked me to go fishing with. The weather was so perfect that morning coz its cloudy till noon.

But we call the day off at 12 coz the sun begin to show up that time and fishes seems to back into the hideout.

Then got back home with my girlfriend to get some rest due to less sleeping the few nite before...tired...At evening, we went to the Gardens at Mid Valley for a dinner and a movie at GSC Signature Cinema. what a lovely date and hope it happens again...

On Monday, I sent my girlfriend back to college at morning coz she had to go Seremban for BTN training and no fishing session that day due to bro Greenyz is on vacation in HK and I guess no fishing too next Monday...

Hands feeling itchy and lines need some wets due to dehydration...haha...Will plan for the coming Monday if Greenyz is back from HK and this time also will bring my girlfriend to join with.

First Visit to Sri Kembangan Paypond

Ermmm...Quite a suddent trip to there...Anyway it was about nearly 1 when bro Demon from MFN Forum text me on messenger to go for a fishing trip...I was like...okay!!!Since I cant release my tension on Monday at Tow Foo, might as well just go for fun...

Bro demon came and arrived about 1.15am and straight we head to Sri Kembangan...Actually the name of the paypond I'm not so sure but its situated right at the top of the hill...Quite cooling at night...and a very nice and clean place compare to most of the paypond...Well maintained eventhough the toilet...

Must be asking about the catches right?? The catches there is good but depends on the skill...Thanks to the owner, they often stock up the pond with fishes of all kind...But only thing is those fishes there is 1kg plus and the biggest about 5 to 6kg plus..Although small but the fishes is mostly patin...Quite a good fighter...

Wthout wasting my time, I pay RM 20 for 3 hours fishing...Quite lots of bites if you ask me but to hook up is a bit difficult because its biting is not hard...Bait is bought from there and there's also a cafe...Non stop landing by other fisho around the pond...Not a really big pond. Almost the size of Laguna paypond in Kelana Jaya.

I only manage to landed a juvenile patin about 1kg...Give a good fight after waited for an hour with lots of bites and strikes...The second fish is manage to hook and gave a pretty good fight but manage to free itself...Must be a patin and more bigger...hehehe...

Anyway it was a nice place to fish but must have lots of skill as the fishes love to bite your bait abd it depends whether you manage to strike it on time or not...all about skill...But bro demon did not manage to hook up anything that night...its ok, fishing is about luck but enjoy the night chatting with you...

Anyway thanks for the trip and transportation...Thumbs up for the pond you recommend...looking foward for another trip with you...Thanks a lot...

I guess I still have to sleep as its about 6am already and later need to go to work...haiz...

Trip Canceled

Due to suddent change of plans for Monday fishing...The trip to Tow Foo Paypond in Rawang had been canceled due to bro Mark aka Greenyz is having a fever...

Get well soon and we will hunt down those tomans another day...

Fish Valley trip on May...

Before I start. This is photos of nite fishing at FV.On morning we had our group photo...

Guess I didnt post up few fishing trips I've done in May...Not really happening this month coz my fishing buddy bro Greenyz is busy with his work and personal thingy...So I only manage to go FV twice for this month.

All those fishes landed by them that nite only...


All being release into fish hotel for photo session in the morning. Trying to catch back n photo session before release back to pond.

After the group photo (above), fish is release into the pond back...
Anyway the first trip was done at the night before Labour day. Finish my work at 11pm and rushed to FV with my friend from my ex workplace and reach there at 2am after getting some supper and lost due to my friend not really know the way to Semenyih...

Met bro Jerry, bro Modena, Datuk Jimmy, TJS and Joon Ching...That night, a special bait is provided by Jimmy the pond owner. A mixture of FV pellets soaked in water and fermented taucu...Smell nice...

Same method rig is used for me and done some ground bait to attract the fish but guess what, waited for 6 hours not even a single hookup that night...Guess my luck is quite bad that night...Anyway had a fun time with MFNers there with those laugh and jokes...

Rushed back at 10am and reach home at 11.30am..Slept for 1 and half hour and rush to work at 2.30...Tired lo that day...Still got lots of photo for that nite only but didnt upload.

This friday 15May will be held the 2nd nite fishing in FV but for me, I guess will see how is it. If got transport, might tumpang to join the fun coz this time will be held a barbecue and more kakies to join...

FV Second Trip for May...

The second trip was made recently 4th May with bro Greenyz at FV...Reached Setiawangsa at 2pm and reach FV at 3..Quite a bit late but who cares...Fish only..

This time we fish with Steven aka bro Dummy and he brought some new baits to tryout...A strawberry scented bread and its quite good bait on hookup rate...

Anyway for me again, not a single bite or nibble even cast on the same spot with them...and yet again my luck in FV is gone...

Fish till 7pm and got back home at 9pm...Eventhough tired, had fun time watching bro Steven doing uphill sprint to fetch the rod. Me, that day jadi tukang sauk and photographer...Haiz... Many thanks to bro greenyz for organize the trip and bro Steven for the special bait...


The next trip will be on 18th May and will be my first trip to Tow Foo Paypond in Kundang, Rawang...another place famous with the biggies...Hope this time will get some biggies to poison u all...

Bukit Merah mangkor trip...

The next day fishing is in Bukit Merah Lake. The trip started at 6pm due to tiredness of last nite fishing in Tambun...We headed there with out cartopper alu boat and reach the lakeside at 7.30 after some breakfast at nearby stall...
The water was murky due to few days of heavy downpour...We fish in the upper section of the lake beyond the train track line...It was a beautiful scenary but the fish really dun have appetite to have our lures and anak keli...Or it might be those kampungs setting up nets and jala those fishes..


We change spot a lot of times and by noon we moved to nearby the train track for bottom since its too hot for casting...A first cast by my brother immidietly taken by a juvinile toman...Not really a good fighter compared to Temenggor tomans...but at east something better then nothing rite? Weight about 1kg plus. Photo taken and released...


We decided to it a day at 5pm when the wind started to blow strong and the water is choppy due to the strong wind...It was a poor catch rate trip but at least we tried lots of spot...

Thats all 2 days fishing trip in Penang...

Tambun Plabuks...Mini BSR in Butterworth

19 APRIL 09...I reach Butterworth Penang at 5pm and immidietly rushed home to have some quick lunch and straight head to Tambun with my dad and my brother...Reach there nearly 7 and the place is crowded...

But when the time is bout 8.30, the place begun to slow down with people and the first fish landed by me after a long wait and changing baits...A plabuk took my bait at 9pm and had a very first long fight about 20min with my newly made custom rod from United rod paired with Abu revo STX with Varivas 14lb mono line...Landed a 9kg plus plabuk...Lovely fight...

Total that night for me is 4 plabuk average 6kg and the biggest is 9kg...My brother caught 4 plabuk all average bout 6kg too...The fishing session end at 12am and it was a lovely day...

The bend of the rod...Hook 1 of the plabuk from my brother and my dad tumpang lawan...Syok giler..A seahawk red scorpion rod 6' med action pair with shimano aperto XT3000 and 14lb line...

Fish Valley ReVisited...

April 6...Had a call nite before planning for FV since off day nothing to do...After spooled in new line for my Revo STX, I agreed with bro Greenyz...A suddent plan for a fishing trip...Anyway at 12pm I took a lrt to Setiawangsa and meet bro Greenyz there. It was raining over Ampang till Kajang area...Me and bro Greenyz hoping that FV is not raining...Reaching Semenyih town, it was dry n hot..Means its fishing time...Reach FV at 1pm after buying lunch n snacks.

We fishing at the bamboo groove and no bites were taken..Only small tilapia...The water was less murky then before..The bait I used is Gardinea Bread skin baked in oven till dry and mix with dedak and santan..It mostly use in BSR fishing in Thailand. So just give a try in FV for those plabuk...In the end , give up coz waited and change till sien..no bite at all...and use those FV pellet pressed with water till dough n rig to bomb...I think next trip will only use those FV pellet...easy n fish will makan...

Anyway bamboo groove didnt land anything so we swich place to bananarama at 4.30 pm....And we in business..the first fish landed a Pacu weight bout 4kg by bro Greenyz followed my first fish, a red tilapia bout 1 kg...The pacu landed using those black bucket at bananarama...Luckly can fit...

Second fish landed is a tilapia bout d same size earlier...Bro Greenyz line was snap few times...must be those pacu again...

At evening bout 7pm we testout another method...Bro greenyz rasuah some FV pellet and we cast out float with pellets...Immidietly taken coz the fish just plying beside those float.. I and bro Greenyz landed Grass carp bout 2 kg size....At least something before going off

Thanks bro Greenyz for the transport n time fishing...Looking foward next week monday...

29 March 09 A recent trip to a patin private pond fishing with MFN forummers in Kundang, Rawang planned by bro Innerzen was a succesful trip.The trip consist of 13 anglers all from MFN gathered n chit chat, laughing and the most bising group in that area... We arrive there at 11am and a short breifing was made about the rigs, do's n don't n etc. We then search a fav spot but all no shed la...

Anyway the first fish landed by datin patin after set up...really fast...then the landing session begin..
